You may have heard of us* on
(* we were formerly "college thrifts")
How does it work? 🤔

1. Swipe by school! 🏫
External research has shown that users are often overwhelmed by a surplus of choice, especially when it comes to eCommerce.
We've created a school-specific Tinder-esque interface where users can swipe on collegiate gear specific to their college!
2. Track your carbon footprint! 🌱
Our gamified carbon footprint tracker allows users to track their individual carbon footprint and that of their university campus as a whole.
This allows users to visualize their impact and ultimately promotes healthy competition amongst schools nationwide.

3. Community 👥
Scrambling to look for something to wear for game day? Missing the cowboy hat to complete the look for your party outfit?
Tap into your college community (and beyond) before shopping new!

what students are saying 🗣️
students are raving about unithrifts. check it out below 👇
”I’ve been having a difficult time finding a great selection of my school's spirit wear on Poshmark, Mercari, eBay, etc. Your idea is just what I am looking for.”
"I think this is a great idea because I currently haven’t been able to find affordable college gear.”
“Throughout [high school] I've gotten SO MUCH college apparel, but at the end I'd rather be able to re-sell all the different pieces and get more of my specific college... literally love this idea.”
“I think this is a great idea because I have apparel from colleges that I toured but won’t be attending and I would love to sell them!”

Throughout her time at the undergraduate level, she worked on projects at institutions across the U.S, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), UC Berkeley, Stanford, and others which allowed her to experience distinct campus cultures.
In 2019, she launched Unithrifts from her college dorm after identifying this unmet need faced by college students around the nation.
Unithrifts commitment to resale is based on Patricia’s desire to create more inclusive college campuses and eliminate waste - one college student at a time ♻️
